Hope everyone had a great New Years Eve Mine was spent eating pizza and sorting out a little madam covered in white chocolate lol

Woke up today and my stomach is back to the way it was last week and I think i'm getting a mild touch of the flu. I feel terrible so it looks like another week of being stuck in the house and staying off work (Yay) and missing the first week of college ... My immune system seems to be terrible. I'm taking nausea tablets to stop me feeling sick but instead I feel worse and drowsy as hell.

Luckily though tonight Lily went to sleep with no bother and I have a chance to do a bit of cooursework and sort out my deviantart messages. You people have wrote a lot of blogs.

I sound very boring atm lol...

Hopefully 2009 will be a good year. Try and lose a bit of weight by cutting out on the sweets and hopefully get a few scripts wrote..

Right this is my reply to 10 questions asked about Emos, Goths & Metalers -


Right Howdy :d I'll try my best to answer your questions but please remember everyone that its just my opinion lol

1) Why do Metal heads, Goths and Emos all wear black?

The same reason we have catwalks and shows like Ugly Betty/Americas next top model and the high street. For the winter season everyone will be wearing goth - go figure. People usually take ideas from other people and their uniqueness evolves. Everyone can wear black - we just choose to wear it a lot lol. Just something thats probably been passed down. Even when I was a kid I knew a goth was someone who wears black all the time. Just what you learn I guess.

2) What are the differences between the styles of music such as Metal, Goth and Emo music?

According to Wikipedia (Yes I know its not a totally reliable source but its never let me down)

Metal: The bands that created heavy metal developed a thick, massive sound, characterized by highly amplified distortion, extended guitar solos, and emphatic beats. Allmusic states that "of all rock & roll's myriad forms, heavy metal is the most extreme in terms of volume, machismo, and theatricality.

Goth: Gothic rock artists deal with dark themes and intellectual movements such as gothic horror, Romanticism, and nihilism.

Emo: Emo is a genre of music that originated from hardcore punk. It has since come to describe several variations of music with common roots and associated fashion and stereotypes.


3) Do Metal Heads and Goths slit their wrists as well as Emos?

Thats probably the one assumption I hate. Anyone - religion/race/group can cut themselves. It doesn't matter what group you fit into. Everyone has issues and sometimes people feel this helps them deal with the pain. Emos have mostly been accused of this due to newpapers like the Daily Mail and the "Emotional" tag. I've knowns chavs (or steeks as we Norn Iron call them ) that have self harmed.

4) Do Metal Heads and Goths believe in Satan?

Not all metal heads or goths believe in Satan. I don't. Sterotypically metalers are meant to be satanists but then we have Christian metal so clearly not everyone. Again this just depends what religion you are and what you choose to believe. It just depends on your music tastes. A few rockers I know are either Christians/atheists. Again its up to you what you want to believe

5) Are all alternative people gay or bisexual these days?

Nope as i'm straight - I'm 100% men and I can prove it cause i'm a mummy lol. People like to experiment and it shouldn't matter what sex you go for as long as ur happy. Yeah i'm cheesy.

6) Why do Chavs reckon Dance music better than Metal?

I could reverse the question - Why do Metalers reckon Metal music better than Dance? Everyone will always agrue that their taste in music is better. If everyone agreed music wouldn't be unique as it is. I couldn't care if steeks thought their music is better. Their opinions ain't gonna change my music tastes. Many have tried and all have failed lol

7) Give me 3 reasons why Goth and Metal is different?

Mmmmmm basically what Talena said. No comments for that lol

8) Is Emo a watered down version of Goth?

Probably though as I said above - emo originated from hardcore punk. Again everyone will always use ideas or be influenced by other bands. Different bands have different influences.

9) Why is there so much rivalry between Chavs and Alternatives?

Because everyone is different. You could change the words and say why is there war etc. Saying that it doesn't stop people getting on with others. There will always be a rivalry between everyone. I couldn't really care to be honest. As long as my daughters safe i'm happy enough and ingore silly taunts.

10) Why is there so much hate between Metal Heads and Emos?

Same answer as above ^ . As Machine Heads Robb Flynn said at the kerrang awards (about emos/pop punk) - Everyone looks like girls. Always gonna be rivalies.

Quick update to say I'll probably be adding more photos in the next few days. I need 2 take my camera out of retirement!

I've ended up with a cold and todays the day for my first leg wax! Mmmhmmm if u hear someone screaming u'll know its me! Very nervous but i'm starting to resemble having man legs!

I remember Radio 1 said Welcome 2 the Jungle by GNR it was the best song for getting a wax 2. hehe

Well I've sorta been neglecting my deviantart account this past while. Work, Lily etc has taken up my time plus I realized I have an addiction 2 checking bebo about 10 times a day lol. I've calmed down now and i'm gonna sort out my deviantart.

Back to college soon so I'm finally going to learn proper camera techiques lol. And start entering photography competitions to try and get a name for myself. Well one can dream lol
